I am a fourth-year behavioral neuroscience major at Northeastern University pursuing the pre-medicine track. After medical school, I aspire to become a neurologist. I have clinical experience as a newborn hearing screener at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Through this job, I learned many aspects of healthcare, as well as the importance of postnatal care for both the mothers and their newborns. Also, I was a research assistant at the Translational Research Center for TBI and Stress Disorders (TRACTS) located in the VA Medical Center. My responsibilities included acquiring imaging data on Vietnam Veterans’ brains in order to further study PTSD and traumatic brain injury as the brain ages. I am currently working at the Jacobs Lab at Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging where I am performing therapeutic trials on patients with Alzheimer’s Disease. I volunteer as a tutor for third grade students, helping them learn math and science. In my free time, I like to read, go for runs, and explore the Boston area with my friends.
